Project objectives: Relations between the Nile Delta, Upper Egypt and the southern Levant in the 4th millennium B.C. as reflected in the material obtained during excavations at  Tell el-Farcha, in particular pottery and metals. Another important aspect of the project is demonstrating  the Delta’s role in these relations and its impact on the processes of cultural and political unification of the Egyptian state
